School–Economy

School–Economy

Are you a teacher and would you like to help your students discover South Tyrol’s economy?

With the “School–Economy” programme offered by the IER – Institute for Economic Research, you can help your students understand economic concepts in a practical and engaging way. The programme aims to spark interest in economic topics, encourage entrepreneurial thinking, and strengthen students’ awareness of South Tyrol’s economy.

You have access to a wide range of initiatives that are available free of charge or can be booked for your classes. These include teaching materials, workshops, visits to the Chamber of Commerce, idea competitions, and a variety of events. The programme enables you to integrate economic topics into your lessons in an engaging way while giving your students valuable insights into the regional economy.

Students gain a better understanding of economic processes, develop their own ideas, and engage with current economic issues. In this way, economic education becomes practical, relevant, and closely connected to everyday life.

The programme is aimed at all academic secondary schools, technical secondary schools, and vocational schools in South Tyrol, supporting teachers in integrating economic education into their lessons in a sustainable way.
