In accordance with regional law number 7 of 9th august 1982 the Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of the economy vis à vis the Provincial and Regional administrations as well as the state and the EU.

Owing to its information activity, the Chamber contributes to a strengthening of the economic attitude in South Tyrol.

Its systematically performed method of economic research and the continuous preparation of all essential structural and economic data provides the basics for factual economic policy discussions and the corresponding decisions.

It especially takes part in drawing up expert plans in the framework of economic programming of the Province and prepares verdicts and statements.

Just as it expresses its opinion on the development plan, the urban planning as well as the traffic planning of the Province.
